Three Suspects At Large in Daytime Home Invasion

A woman was knocked to the ground during the robbery.

 

Police are searching for three men who pushed a woman to the ground and forced their way into her home in a home invasion-style robbery Saturday.

According to the Fremont Police Department, the incident occurred at about 4:10 p.m. on the 3800 block of Riverbend Terrace near Alvarado Boulevard.

The woman heard a knock at the door and, when she answered it, was pushed to the ground.

At least one of the men was armed with a firearm, police said.

The suspects took a small safe and fled the area in a grey Toyota Camry with “blacked out rear windows,” according to police.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

The first suspect was described as possibly an Indian adult male, about 5-foot-9 with a stocky build wearing a dark colored shirt, dark pants and black shoes.

A second suspect was possibly an Indian adult male, about 6-feet tall with a skinny build wearing a dark colored shirt, light colored pants and light colored shoes.

A detailed description of the third suspect was not given, but he is also believed to be an Indian adult male and was wearing black pants and white shoes.
