Fremont Police Searched for Theft Suspect This Morning
The suspect was not found, according to police officials
Fremont police asked residents to avoid the area where they were searching for a theft suspect this morning.
Police searched the area around Farwell Drive, Brophy Drive and Blacow Road both on foot and by helicopter.
A Nixle Alert was sent out by police around 10:40 a.m. asking residents to avoid the area during the search. Just after 11 a.m., a second Nixle was released that said the police activity was over and that the suspect had not been found.
The suspect was described as a white man about 24 years old possibly wearing or carrying a blue sweatshirt.
No other details about the theft were available.
