Shop at the Fremont Whole Foods next Wednesday, Dec. 11, and raise money for LIFE ElderCare’s Meals on Wheels program.
Five percent of the store’s net profits that day will be donated to the organization.
Every day, LIFE ElderCare volunteers deliver hundreds of meals to elderly and disabled seniors in need in Fremont, Newark and Union City.

“Good nutrition for our vulnerable seniors is a top priority in maintaining good health. And healthy, well-nourished residents strengthen communities for everyone,” said Patricia Osage, executive director of LIFE ElderCare. “Thank you for shopping Whole Foods Fremont on December 11th and doing your part this holiday season to feed hungry frail and disabled seniors right here in our neighborhoods.”
Whole Foods Market Fremont is located at 31111 Mowry Ave. in Fremont. Store hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
