In Photos: Niles Festival of Lights Parade 2012

Hundreds gather in downtown Niles for the 12th annual Festival of Lights Parade.

The holiday season officially kicked off in the Tri-Cities Friday night with the Niles Festival of Lights Parade.

Families from all over lined the streets of historic downtown Niles to watch the 12th annual tradition.

A procession of fire engines, classic cars, various community organizations, marching bands and even Stormtroopers were all decked out with holiday spirit.

The holiday parade has become a hometown family tradition and continues to grow every year. The event brings people to experience the rich history of Niles and to ring in the holidays.

Patch photographer Paciano Triunfo was on hand to capture some of the magic.

View highlights from the event in the photo gallery above and feel free to add photos of your own.

Really? It isn't a private family matter? Then why was the Sheriff of SF County allowed to make thisRead More claim and plea bargain down so he could keep his guns?
