Did You Feel It? 3.4 Earthquake Reported Near San Jose

The earthquake was reported just after noon.

A 3.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Santa Clara County at midday today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The earthquake occurred at 12:02 p.m. and was centered 4 miles northeast of East Foothills near Alum Rock Park, USGS officials said.

Residents in Union City and Fremont, including Patch editor Nika Megino, felt the shake.
