Alleged Killers Of Fremont Man To Face Murder Charges
Jabrie Bennett and Andre Smith are accused of causing the death of innocent bystander Kenneth Lee Seets of Fremont in a Jan. 19 gunfight at the Bay Fair BART station.
Two 18-year-old men will face murder charges for allegedly starting a gunfight that caused the death of innocent bystander Kenneth Lee Seets, a 50-year-old Fremont man, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The incident occurred Jan. 19 outside the Bay Fair BART Station.
The two 18-year-olds, Jabrie Bennett and Andre Smith, are being held without bail.

Authorities say Smith and his younger brother reached a bus stop at the station around noon, at which time the brother started arguing with Bennett.
Smith was allegedly carrying a loaded gun in his waistband. Bennett is said to have had a .22-caliber semiautomatic rifle in a duffle bag.
Authorities believe Bennett opened fire. Seets was struck in the chest with the bullet that killed him. A woman with Bennett, Antilea Beal, was struck in the head but survived.
Bennett and Smith have also been charged with assault with a firearm for allegedly wounding Beal.
