Authorities say Smith and his younger brother reached a bus stop at the station around noon, at which time the brother started arguing with Bennett.

Smith was allegedly carrying a loaded gun in his waistband. Bennett is said to have had a .22-caliber semiautomatic rifle in a duffle bag.

Authorities believe Bennett opened fire. Seets was struck in the chest with the bullet that killed him. A woman with Bennett, Antilea Beal, was struck in the head but survived.

Bennett and Smith have also been charged with assault with a firearm for allegedly wounding Beal.
