Woman Arrested After Stabbing Man at Restaurant

The stab wounds are not life-threatening, police said.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested Monday for stabbing a male victim in Fremont, police said.

At about 1 a.m. on Monday, officers were dispatched to the emergency room of a local hospital regarding a male victim who came in with a stab wound to his back, police said.

The victim told police that the stabbing occurred during a fight late Saturday night at Bijan Restaurant, located at 39935 Mission Blvd.

Officers went to the scene of the fight and located several employees and witnesses, as well as the female suspect.

The suspect was arrested with the knife still in her possession, according to police.

Police said the victim's stab wounds appear not to be life-threatening.
