Masked Trio Rob Wells Fargo Bank

An employee was thrown to the ground during the robbery and one customer had to be transported to the hospital for chest pains from a previous medical condition.

Three masked men made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after robbing an Irvington district bank Tuesday afternoon. 

According to the Fremont Police Department, the suspects, who covered their faces with bandanas, entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 40982 Fremont Blvd. at about 4 p.m. and yelled for everyone to get on the floor.

No weapons were seen, police said.

Two of the suspects jumped over the counter and rummaged through the cash drawers before all three fled to a waiting car parked behind the bank.

Responding officers set up a perimeter but could not locate the suspects, police said. 

Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not released.
