Shots Fired at Safeway Parking Lot

No one was injured during the incident, police said.

Fremont police are investigating a report of shots fired that occurred Thursday night.

At about 9:10 p.m., police received a report of shots fired and two vehicles speeding away from a Safeway parking lot at the Hub, located at the intersection of Argonaut Way and Mowry Avenue.

Officers responded but found no suspects or evidence of a shooting.

Shortly before 11 p.m., police received a call from a victim who reported a shooting at the same location.

According to police, the victim said four suspects sped away in a gray Nissan Altima after shooting him.

Police located two shell casings and were given suspect descriptions.
 
Officers located the suspect vehicle and several suspects at a home on Porter Street.

The shooting remains under investigation.
