Hi, Do You Know Me? I Burglarized a House (Allegedly)

Officers were sent to an Addison Court home yesterday to take a burglary report from a resident whose home break-in was caught on video.

It appears the suspect entered the backyard via an unlocked side gate and then broke the glass in a rear patio sliding door to gain entry into the home, police said. 

The homeowner was alerted to the break-in at 11:35 a.m. after receiving an alert of a motion detector via his video-surveillance system that captured and recorded the suspect in his bedroom.  

The Fremont police are providing two still images from the video in an effort to quickly identify the unknown man. 

"We hope that someone in our community will come forward and help us solve this case," police said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Middle Eastern male, thin to medium build, short cropped brown hair, brown eyes, thin mustache and partial goatee underneath his chin and below the jaw line, and wearing black pants, dark colored t-shirt, and a navy blue hoodie. 

He appears to be talking on either a red-colored Smart phone or a phone with a red case.
