Drunken Woman Parks SUV on Railroad Tracks, Calls Cops, Gets Arrested

The 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

A 22-year-old Fremont woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication early Sunday morning after calling the cops on herself, according to Fremont police and the Fremont Argus

The newspaper reports that Corra Young called Fremont police around 12:30 a.m. telling them that she had been drinking at the Saddle Rack and couldn’t find her vehicle, which she parked on a set of railroad tracks.

Officers found Young intoxicated and sitting on a curb on Auto Mall Parkway.

Her Chrysler Pacifica was found nearby on a set of railroad tracks on the west end of Auto Mall Parkway, the Argus reports. 

Union Pacific had to stop trains for about an hour while the SUV was towed.
