Crash Blocks All Lanes on Northbound I-880
The crash involving at least two vehicles near Thornton Avenue was reported at 4:32 p.m.

A Sig-alart has been issued on northbound Interstate Highway 880 in Fremont because of a crash that has shut down all lanes this afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol officer.
The crash involving at least two vehicles near Thornton Avenue was reported at 4:32 p.m. The alert was issued at 4:44 p.m., according to the CHP.
Medical crews have been dispatched to the crash and there was a report of at least one person complaining of back pain, CHP Officer James Evans said.
Two tow trucks have also been called to the collision, Evans said.
