Convenience Store Robbed At Gunpoint

The suspect was still at large as of late Saturday night.

Fremont police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a convenience store Thursday afternoon.

A clerk at the Quik Stop at 38995 Farwell Drive, near the Los Arboles Shopping Center, called police at 4:40 p.m. on Thursday to report that she had just been robbed at gunpoint, police said.

The entire cash drawer was taken, according to police.

The suspect was described as a black male, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall with a heavy build, police said.

The suspect was not located in a search of the area, according to police.
