Caretaker Charged With Committing Sex Acts on Elderly Patient in Nursing Facility
Authorities say Bruce Michael Goulart, 57, of Newark, committed multiple lewd acts on an elderly man at the Crestwood Treatment Center in Fremont, according to reports.
A Newark man has been charged with committing 17 lewd acts on an elderly male patient at a Fremont care facility, according to The Argus.
Bruce Michael Goulart, 57, allegedly committed the acts while working as a caretaker at the Crestwood Treatment Center, the Argus reports.
According to its website, Crestwood Treatment Center is a skilled nursing facility that specializes in providing long-term care for individuals with organic brain disease.

Goulart, who was arrested Aug. 30, was arraigned Wednesday and is due back in court next week to enter a plea.
He is currently being held at Santa Rita Jail on a $500,000 bail, according to online court records.
