Not a total shock. Mexicans, Asians, African Americans are still treated poorly. I don't thinkRead More there's going to be a time where it will be 100%. As long as you have mixed races and allow it to happen, it will happen. Kids are not like that, it's a learned trait to see differences, parents are teaching the kids about 9/11, Pearl Harbor, etc. Now homes are being paid for up front by cash from China and there's backlash there as well. Muslims are the flavor of the month. Just goes to show how well the education system is doing in America.

I get mistaken for a Muslim all the time, even though I'm one of the whitest, white boys in theRead More area.
A vacant 150-acre area between Cushing Parkway and I-880 will be developed into office buildings, manufacturing plants and retail centers.

P.S.--Congratulations to Santa Clara on Super Bowl 50!! Maybe Fremont will sell some hotel roomsRead More and hamburgers.

I know all this, Sam--I'm being facetious. I wish we could have made a more earnest, seriouslyRead More convincing fight to get it. It would have brought so many jobs, so much fan money, and increased tax income to our city. It's probably this same peanut gallery that complains about lack of public funds for education, street repair, crime prevention, civic development, and jobs, jobs, jobs, in connection with all of these community improvements that would be possible and paid for. Congratulations to Santa Clara and San Jose for moving forward to a brighter future.

Sorry to disappoint you, Jeannie. It’s been talked, not going to happen. The city has in theRead More past tried to entice the A’s twice, but it has been rejected. Nearby residents have complained about traffic. Besides Lew Wolff has said that he much prefers the A’s playing in San Jose. And the 49ERS new home will be down in the fall of next year.

Whenever I drive into Fremont my blood pressure rises. Growing up in the tri-city area all my life,Read More it has gotten worse of the the years. Didn't seem to be a big deal in the 80's and early 90's. Im guessing is just the new wave of residents who come from other countries and have an issue with the wave we drive drive in calif. I wont say how many times I had to honk, beep, wave, yell and stare at a certain ethnic group of drives because they were not paying attention of just seemed confused.

So what? Let those who run a red pay, I don't care. They don't tax ME, and you know why? Because I'mRead More not ****ing run a red signal and always stop on "STOP" sign. Learn how to drive or pay a stupidity tax.

There are right on red cameras in Fremont. I laugh at the ones in Newark, because I have noticedRead More exaggerated stops there. Especially the one at the Shell station. Cars hold at least a good 20-30 seconds then go, it's just funny to watch. As a pedestrian I feel safer walking into the right on red intersections, those cars actually stop.

Hayward has eliminated Red Light Camera's, even before the contract was up with the vendor. RedwoodRead More City is in the process of eliminating Red Light Camera's the reason is they are ineffective at reducing accidents. In order to generate more revenue, they shorten the caution light as short as law allows. So, in effect they are taxing us. I question the Integrity of the entire Fremont City Council. Please cancel the Red Light Vendor Contract. Show that you represent the people of Fremont, not some contractor

It figures, Newark has absolutely NO CLASS, Destroy your history no one in Newark cars and that isRead More the problem. APATHETIC. Has everyone in Newark have a lobotomy ?????
