Hobee's. It may not be a large enough space for a real restaurant though. We do not need any moreRead More high calorie, high fat content fast food. We need more healthy fresh vegetable, fruit, and protein options for food.

I participated in the SOD Blitz program last year. One of my samples was positive for SOD (PalomaresRead More Hills area) so this disasterous infection is in the Castro Valley area. I would like to urge anyone interested to look into participating in this year's SOD Blitz. There will be a Blitz training on April 27th in Berkeley. I think this is from the miss-leading title. The article seems more about short term child-care,Read More like when you hire a sitter for an evening out. But in general most folks would refer to child-care in general as somewhere you send your kid everyday (day-care) while your at work or something. I mean the higher end day-care in Fremont are $1200-1400/month which is about $8/hr for full-time care.

I mean this is just ridiculous, I know everyone needs to make a living but what if you make $20.00Read More an hour you need to pay your baby sitter $13.00 of that, it's impossible. Than we wonder why so many people need government assistance.

First of all, as part of being a Sikh, I want to welcome everyone to your Gurdwara and want to thankRead More the commission. Please come, attend the worship services/Gurbani music (mostly done in Gurmukhi/Punjabi language) and enjoy the community meal in the langar hall which is open 24/7. Please no alcohol, tobbaco, or drugs. I occasionally visit the Fremont Gurdwara on my way to work in San Jose. I urge the Gurdwara committee to install cameras if they can for security and safety reasons. Almost all Gurdwaras in the World these days have indoor and outdoor CCTV cameras so I don't understand why this was even an issue. Sikh community actually like the cameras in the Gurdwaras to prevent any unforseen incidents and public safety. I agree with Bob R, why not increase the parking space and build a parking strucuture. That is poor planning. But on the other hand, it may force people to carpool, use public transit or Gurdwara management to provide shuttle services.

Just like Catholic Festivals, Budist Bazars, or even the Fremont Food And Wine Festival, there willRead More be events that overflows parking. Before the homes were there, the Temple owned the land and was there. If you live near the temple, then plan your next "garage sale" on a festival day and you will get 8000 customers.
