Heads up! Here are five events taking place this week that you don’t want to miss.

Enroll in Child Care Center, Receive One Week Free

Enroll in the City of Newark's Preschool and Child Care Center between now and Aug. 30 and receive one week free, plus no registration fees. The program, held at the Newark Community Center (35501 Cedar Blvd.), provides affordable and childcare with a curriculum that includes individual and group activities, kindergarten preparedness, art, music and movement, science, computers and outdoor playtime. Job Seekers Workshop

So you've landed a job. But are you ready for the interview? A Hand 'n Hand Career Training Center is providing a free workshop on Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Pleasanton Library (400 Old Bernal Ave. in Pleasanton). The workshop will give job seekers tips and advice on how to answer the tough questions and get a head-start over the competition. Music for Minors II at the Library

Children of all ages can sing, dance and play with instruments at this free event Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Fremont Main Library. Parents can also learn about Music for Minors II's fall training classes to become a classroom music docent through the nonprofit music program.

Free "Flex Your Faith" Fitness Class

Get a physical and spiritual workout at the free "Flex Your Faith" fitness class on Thursday at 6 p.m. at 7160 Graham Ave. in Newark. The program runs participants through a challenging workout while using Christian music and messages to guide them through exercises. 

Niles Antique Faire and Flea Market

Downtown Niles will transform into a bargain hunter's paradise this Sunday with more than 200 vendors selling collectibles, arts, crafts, food and much more. The 49th annual event will be held all day, starting at 6 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. and will be held along Niles Boulevard between G and J streets.
