Run, Raise Money for Fremont Schools

The 9th Annual Fremont Run 4 Education will be held Sunday, Oct. 27.

Break a sweat next Sunday while raising money for local schools at the 9th Annual Fremont Run 4 Education. 

To be held Oct. 27 at Lake Elizabeth, the event features a 5K and 10K fun run, a half-mile kids’ run and a quarter-mile run for children 5 and under.

All proceeds will benefit the Fremont Education Foundation’s Guy Emanuele Sports Fund, which supports after school sports throughout the Fremont Unified School District.

According to organizers, the annual run has raised more than $100,000 over the years through both the event and community contributions. This year’s race has already generated more than $25,000.

Online registration is open through Oct. 23, but sign-ups are also welcome at Fremont Family and Sports Chiropractic (39813 Paseo Padre Pkwy.) or at the day of the event. The cost is $35 for the 5K and 10K races and $25 for kids’ races. A t-shirt and goodie bag is included with each registration.
