Coach "I" was my P.E. coach just about every year and semester I could take him at Washington. I loved that man! One of the classes he commonly offered was weight training/weight room. I have NEVER been pushed so hard when it came to lifting weights. He encouraged in his own ways, there was no sugar coating it. His presence in the weight room alone would push you to work your butt off. To this day I can still hear his voice yelling "Guerrero" across the room when I am working out. Coach "I" will forever be one of the most memorable teachers I have ever known. - Jessica Guerrero; Washington High School, Class of 1999

I remember Coach I (I graduated in '93) - Seeing him around campus he always wore shorts with white socks, pulled up high and he'd stick a pencil in it - for safe keeping I suppose. Great coach and I knew he enjoyed it, he will be missed. - Sandy Nevels on Facebook
