Cost Per Square Foot: Homes In Fremont That Have A Higher Price Tag

You get what you pay for, the old saying goes.

That's true for homes as much as anything.

With that in mind, we thought we'd take a look this week at houses that cost more per square foot that most homes in their area.

There are a lot of reasons for the higher price tag. Location is probably the main reason. There can also be amenities as well as the size of the yard.

In Fremont, this four-bedroom, two-bathroom house at 41798 Vargas Road is listed at $1.69 million.

It's 1,476 square feet, which means its cost more than $1,100 per square foot.

The residence sits on almost 22 acres and is listed as a "great property for the right rancher or investor" with panoramic views.
