Fremont Main Library Restores Sunday Hours

The Fremont Main Library is open on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.

After 10 years, the Fremont Main Library is once again providing services on Sundays. 

The library celebrated the occasion with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and magic show this past weekend.

Sunday hours were cut a decade ago due to budget cuts.

However, the Fremont Library Advisory Commission has rallied the community to support Sunday operations and secured $240,000 from the City of Fremont to ensure the library remains open seven days a week.

The Fremont Main Library hours are as follows:

  • Monday: 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Thursday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Friday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
