The League of Women Voters of Fremont, Newark & Union City will host a forum on Friday,
September 21 at the Fremont City Council Chambers, 3300 Capitol Avenue, featuring candidates running for mayor and for city council. All 5 Fremont candidates will be interviewed from 7 – 8 pm.
The mayoral candidates are Aziz Akbari, Steve Cho, Anu Natarajan, Bill Harrison and Linda Susoev. City council candidates will be interviewed from 8:10 to 9:20 pm regarding their positions on wide-ranging areas of concern. The Fremont City Council candidates are Vinnie Bacon, Sue Chan, John Dutra, Rick Jones, Rakesh Sharma and Mark Wadley. The forum will offer the audience an opportunity to submit questions to the candidates.
