Update: Woman Dies From Bicycle Accident Injuries
Feng Ying Yu, 51, of Fremont, lost control of her bike and hit her head Friday morning.
A Fremont woman died over the weekend after succumbing to major injuries sustained during a solo bicycle accident Friday morning, according to Fremont police.
Feng Ying Yu, 51, was riding along Osgood Road at about 6:45 a.m. when she lost control of her bike.
She fell and hit her head on the ground, the Fremont Argus reports.

Yu was taken to a San Jose hospital and was pronounced dead on Saturday, according to the Argus.
No vehicles were involved during the accident, police said.
