Suspect Points Gun at Woman During Interrupted Residential Burglary

Police say the suspect robbed the women of her purse during the incident.

By Bay City News—

A resident arrived home to her residence in the 4200 block of San Juan Avenue and interrupted a burglary on Thursday, officers said. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and stole her purse, police said.

The two suspects, described only as adult black males, then fled the residence in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Police believe the suspects may be responsible for another residential burglary on Thursday that occurred in the 4700 block of Balboa Way.

The two residences are less than a mile apart. In this burglary, multiple suspects entered a home through a dog door. The homeowner reported that jewelry and electronics were stolen, police said. The suspects were described as two dark-skinned males wearing black hoodies and black pants, police said.

Police believe the suspects may be connected to green mini-van that was seen in the area. A mini-van was also reported in at least one additional burglary last week.
