Sketch of Two Suspects in Warm Springs Home Invasion Robbery Released

Police say four men beat and robbed the woman in her Purpleleaf Street home.

Police have released sketches of two suspects who were involved in a home invasion robbery in which police said a woman was attacked and robbed earlier this month.

According to the Fremont Police Department, a 49-year-old woman was taking a nap at about 11:40 a.m., Sept. 8 inside of her Warm Springs home on the 48000 block of Purpleleaf Street when she woke up to find four men surrounding her bed. One of the suspects had a gun, police said.

The woman tried to grab her home phone, but the men snatched it from her, police said. She then tried to grab her cell phone and, again, the suspects took it away from her.

The men then began beating the victim and tried to wrap duct tape around her eyes, according to police.

The woman fought with the suspects for several minutes before breaking free and running to a neighbor’s house. She was later transported to a nearby hospital and treated for facial injuries.
