Fremont police are investigating a shooting at a residence where teens had trespassed and thrown a party Friday night.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Lake Erie Street, near Lowry Park by the Fremont-Union City border, at about 11:17 p.m. on a report of a party.
Police heard approximately five gunshots while responding to the scene and saw numerous teenagers running from the residence.
Police conducted multiple stops on several groups and searched the area.
Police determined the residence was vacant and that partygoers had broken into the home.
At least one bullet hole was found in a neighbor's vehicle, police said.
No injuries were reported.
