Police Seeking Suspects Who Robbed U.S. Marine at Gunpoint at Bank of America ATM

The Fremont Police Department is seeking the public's help tracking down two suspects who robbed a retired United States marine at an ATM last week.
 
The robbery occurred at about 1:05 a.m. on April 9 at the Bank of America located at 40820 Fremont Blvd., police said. Police said a 67-year-old retired marine was at the ATM at the bank when a white Mercedes backed into a parking spot near where he was standing.

A man exited from the back door on the driver's side and pointed a gun at the man. The victim threw his wallet at the suspect who then got back into the car and fled. At least one other male was in the car during the robbery, according to police. Police said the suspects used the victim's credit cards at a 7-Eleven located at 46650 Mohave Drive in Fremont about an hour and a half later.
 
The suspect who robbed the man is described as an Indian man between 18 and 23 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was seen wearing a gray jacket with fur lining on the hood, white and black shoes, and a large ring or splint on his right ring finger.
 
The other suspect is an Indian man between 18 and 23 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a graphic design, red and black shorts, a black beanie with a zig-zag pattern and a ball on top, as well as a bracelet on his left wrist.
 
Police said the 7-Eleven clerk told officers the men spoke Hindi. Anyone with information about the incident or the suspects is asked to call Fremont police at (510) 790-6954.
