Do You Recognize This Bank Robbery Suspect?

The suspect robbed the Patelco Credit Union on Mowry Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Fremont police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a Wednesday afternoon bank robbery. 

According to the Fremont Police Department, officers were sent to the Patelco Credit Union, located at 5166 Mowry Ave., at about 1:45 p.m. to investigate an in-progress robbery. A female suspect entered the bank, robbed a teller of an undisclosed amount of cash and quickly left the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

No weapon was seen and no one was injured during the incident.

Authorities were able to obtain video surveillance images and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

She is described as Asian or Pacific Islander, about 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds with dark brown hair pulled back. She was wearing large-framed sunglasses, a white t-shirt, blue sweatpants, blue boxer shorts and red and white shoes.
