Pitbull Bites Girl's Arm at Centerville Park

The puppy is under quarantine, police said.

A girl was bit in the arm by a pitbull who attacked her at a park on Saturday, police said.

According to the Fremont Police Department, the 6-month-old pitbull puppy was let off leash at Centerville Park, got away from the owner and ran toward the 12-year-old girl.

Police said the dog made “several attempts to bite” the girl and that the victim tried to swing to keep the dog away. The dog, however, bit the girl in the arm as the owner arrived. The owner said sorry but fled, authorities said.
