Parents of Fremont Man Murdered in UCSB Massacre Say Son Wanted to Move Out
Weihan "David" Wang's parents tell NBC Bay Area their son was planning to move to another apartment in the fall.
The parents of Weihan "David" Wang, the 20-year-old Fremont man found stabbed to death in Elliot Rodger's Isla Vista apartment on Friday night, told NBC Bay Area that their son had wanted to move out of the apartment he shared with Rodger.
In a tearful interview with NBC Bay Area, Jinshuang "Jane" Liu and Charlie Wang said Wang, who graduated from Fremont Christian School in 2012, was planning to move to another apartment in the fall.

NBC reported that Wang, who is an only child, was due home in Fremont this summer.
A post on the Fremont Christian website, describes Wang as loving basketball and having "exemplary character and high academic achievement."
Wang was one of the three Bay Area victims discovered in Rodger's apartment.
George Chen, 19, of San Jose and 20-year-old Cheng Yuan Hong, of San Jose were also found in the apartment.
Fremont Christian School has posted a tribute to Wang on their website.
