Man Robbed at Gunpoint in DMV Parking Lot

Four suspects robbed the man in broad daylight Tuesday afternoon.

A man was robbed of his cell phone and cash while sitting in his car at the Tuesday afternoon, police said.

According to the Fremont Police Department, the robbery occurred at 3:07 p.m. The victim was counting cash when four male suspects accosted him. One of the suspects put a gun through the car window and demanded his belongings, police said.

The suspects fled on foot eastbound on Central Avenue and then northbound on Maple Street, according to police. The victim was not harmed.

After the suspects fled, the victim returned to work and phoned authorities, police said.

The primary suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, between 20 to 25 years old with an average to heavy build with a full beard and bald head. He was carrying a silver revolver and wearing a blue shirt and black Dickies-type pants.

The other suspects were all described as Hispanic male teens between 16 and 18 years old. They were wearing white t-shirts and black Dickies-type pants.
