Witnesses told police that the driver may have been racing with a dark colored Mustang before the collision occurred.
Alcohol and drugs do not seem to be factors in the accident, Bosques added.
The driver's condition was unknown as of 4:30 p.m., police said.
The vehicle was overturned and crashed into the backyard of a home on the 40000 block of Robin Street, police said.
According to KTVU, the owner of the home's backyard said cars have crashed through his fence since he's lived there.
