Marcus West, of Union City, and four juveniles were recently convicted of committing armed robberies of restaurants and convenience stories in Fremont and Union City.

A Union City man and four juveniles have been convicted of committing multiple armed robberies at fast food restaurants and convenience stores last year, according to a police report.

According to the Fremont Police Department, the investigating agency, Marcus West, 18, of Union City, and four juveniles from Union City and Hayward robbed several businesses in the region in March 2011.
