Some of the people with connections to Fremont who passed away recently

Robert Merleon was a long-time member of Fremont Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Temple and a Mason for 58 years. Merleon passed away on July 17 at the age of 80.

Christopher Bowman was a long-time Bay Area resident who lived in Fremont, Newark, Hayward and San Jose. He was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors. Bowman passed away on July 10 at the age of 47.

Bruce Kieft, a resident of Fremont, was an active member of his church and volunteered at charitable organizations. He worked for 34 years at Hewlett Packard. Kieft passed away on June 21 at the age of 60.

Timothy Ivan McConnell, a resident of Fremont, passed away on July 11 at the age of 51.
