Crown Moldings!

Aesthetically pleasing home gets the prime attention and a higher value. Crown moldings, Wainscoting, Chair railings,Shadow boxes, Crawford ceilings etc are ways to add more attention to details in your home.

Typically a buyer should walk into a house and just say, "Wow I want my home to be like this." I've heard this numerous times during my open house of the newly built or remodeled homes. My response always is defining a space is very easy and cost effective but at the same time it can get tricky when defining that right space.
Decorative trims are a key that can make or break a sell. Crown Molding and trim brings in luxury. It pulls a room together like Living room, Dining room, Study room, Powder room and Master bedroom. Most homeowners are always looking for luxurious look when it comes to spending that extra buck a seller desire.

Crown Moldings can be installed on any ceiling height. They give an optical illusion on a low ceiling being higher then what it actually is. There is no rule for installation of crown moldings sizes, style and design. In fact they do not need to be the same through out the house. Some ceilings might be lower then the other part of the house. For e.g a 4 inch molding will look better then an 8inch molding that you had installed on the other part of the house with high ceiling.

There is a wide variety, design, sizes and style that you can take advantage and pick and choose according to the room that you will be installing however it is important to keep in mind to maintain a balanced visual flow throughout your house...
