In honor of Father's Day, each Sunday in June the Fremont Main Library will hold a free showing of movies featuring fathers. Today it's John Q (PG-13, 118 min.). John Q. Archibald (Denzel Washington), a factory worker facing
financial hardship, and his wife discover that their young son needs an emergency heart transplant, which their health insurance policy doesn't cover. Left with no recourse but to take his son home to die, John snaps and holds the staff and patients of the hospital's emergency room hostage at gunpoint.
