Songs of the Struggle for Liberty, Freedom, and Justice

Music has always played a key role in the struggle for liberties, having an immediate impact, spreading the message, and giving supporters a collective identity. Kevin Vance, host of 91.7 KALW's "A Patchwork Quilt," will share some songs which helped to change the world.

Kevin Vance hosts and produces folk music programs for non-commercial radio stations in the Bay Area. His show "A Patchwork Quilt" has aired on KALW since 1991.

A related exhibit is on display at the library through Nov. 2nd.
