Drive diesel? If so, you can get a few gallons on the house courtesy of Propel Fuels.
In an eco-conscious effort, Propel Fuels is giving away free biodiesel today to introduce customers to the clean and sustainable renewable fuel.
The company is giving away $10 in biodiesel to individual consumers and up to $50 of biodiesel to business fleets at their station located in the Chevron at 39707 Paseo Padre Pkwy as part of their “Diesel Days.” The promotion began Thursday.
The free biodiesel promotion lasts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
Biodiesel can only be used in vehicles with diesel engines. It can be used interchangeably with petroleum diesel.
Propel Fuels’ product is made domestically from local, sustainable resources such as vegetable and soybean oil, according to a press release. The fuel source improves engine performance and reduces emissions, creating a healthier environment.
“By providing local drivers a better choice at the pump, Propel is helping make progress toward our nation’s clean energy goals,” the company said in a statement.
