Before they paved paradise and put up a parking lot, much of the East Bay looked like Ardenwood Historic Farm.
The East Bay Regional Park District has preserved a bit of the region's agricultural past in this bucolic oasis close to Fremont, Union City and Newark.
This is a good time of year to see spring lambs strut their stuff, as this Patch video shows.
The farm is located at 34600 Ardenwood Blvd. Fremont, CA 94555 and is open Tuesday-Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
