YouTube Finds: Motorola Commercial Filmed in Mission San Jose?

Did Motorola film a commercial at the historical landmark of Mission San Jose in Fremont?

It sure looks like it.

A commercial that appears to have been filmed at Mission San Jose for Motorola was posted on the company's YouTube channel in mid-November, and it has YouTube users from Fremont talking.

One YouTube user wrote, "Sweet! That's Mission San Jose at the top of Mission Blvd. Part of St. Joseph's parish. -- They cheated a little because the shot of the woman would NOT have shown overgrown ruins, but a few old shops and Mission Blvd. itself."

"Filmed in Fremont, Ca at the Mission San Jose," another person commented.

Starring a red-headed beauty and a furry dog, the advertisement shows the front steps of the mission that was founded in 1797 and highlights the DROID RAZR M and its Google Voice Translation tool.

Media representatives with Motorola were not immediately available to confirm the location of the commercial.
