'Keep Abreast' Run to Raise Thousands for Local Breast Cancer Foundation

The 5k/10k run will be held at Quarry Lakes in Fremont on Saturday, Sept. 29.

Run for a cause and help support breast cancer patients at the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation’s Keep Abreast run next weekend.

To be held Saturday, Sept. 29 at Quarry Lakes, the 13th annual event is a fundraiser for the Fremont-based foundation, which supports women who are healing from breast cancer by providing post-surgical services and products such as bras, prosthetics and wigs.

β€œOur goal is to empower and care for each client as a whole person,” the HERS website states.
