Fremont Students Win Honorable Mention in Toshiba ExploraVision Science Competition

Two local schools in Fremont were awarded Honorable Mention in the Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision program, the world’s largest K-12 science and technology competition. Six teams from Mission San Jose High School and one team from Hopkins Junior High were acknowledged from a total of 5,206 entries across the US and Canada. A total of 15,963 students participated in this year’s ExploraVision program. Just 10% of applicants receive Honorable Mention. The Toshiba ExploraVision competition, now in its 21st year, asks students to imagine ideas for future technologies that could exist in 20 years.
