FREMONT -- RAW Talents, one of Fremont’s youngest and highly decorated performing programs, is proud to announce that their “RAW Cheer” team placed at the USA (United Spirit Assoc.) Regional Cheerleading competition held in Santa Cruz, CA this past weekend. This puts “RAW Cheer” on their journey to the USA National competition held in Anaheim,CA March 2013!

The RAW Cheer team took in a 2nd place in the Youth Stunt division and the Senior Stunt team took 3rd (beating a former National champion). RAW Cheer holds regional, national and international titles. They also host cheer camps and exclusive Hip-Hop dance workshops for kids who want to learn the foundation of cheer and dance. They have also been invited performers in SF St. Patricks Day Parade, Sausalito Festival of Lights and other public events.

With only three years in existence, the “RAW Cheer” team has taken many aspiring teen girls and boys with little or no dance or cheer experience and cultivated them into one of Fremont’s most respected cheer and dance teams . “You don’t need experience to be a champion” stated RawTalents.org founder Meek Gaborski. “To be a champion you must only be willing to focus, work hard independently and still be willing to work as a team. We’re grateful to the USA organization and  I’ve never been more proud of our kids.”
